Analytic Scattering Amplitudes for QCD
By analytically continuing QCD scattering amplitudes through specific complexified momenta, one can study and learn about the nature and the consequences of factorization and unitarity. In some cases, when coupled with the largest time equation and gauge invariance requirement, this approach leads to recursion relations, which greatly simplify the construction of multi-gluon scattering amplitud...
متن کاملTree Scattering Amplitudes *
The spin-4/3 fractional superstring is characterized by a chiral algebra involving a spin-4/3 current on the world-sheet in addition to the energy-momentum tensor. These currents generate physical state conditions on the fractional superstring Fock space. Scattering amplitudes of these physical states are described which satisfy both spurious state decoupling and cyclic symmetry (duality). Exam...
متن کاملScattering amplitudes and AdS/CFT
Scattering amplitudes in the maximally supersymmetric N = 4 gauge theory are known to possess some remarkable features. The reasons for this are not completely understood, but some possible candidates are: the integrability properties of the theory, the existence of a gravitational dual and the existence of a twistor space description. I will not try to give a detailed description of the N = 4 ...
متن کاملScattering amplitudes with open loops.
We introduce a new technique to generate scattering amplitudes at one loop. Traditional tree algorithms, which handle diagrams with fixed momenta, are promoted to generators of loop-momentum polynomials that we call open loops. Combining open loops with tensor-integral and Ossola-Papadopoulos-Pittau reduction results in a fully flexible, very fast, and numerically stable one-loop generator. As ...
